The perfect way to kick-start your kite season!
We are returning to Dahkla’s kitesurfing paradise and invite you to join our adventure! Dahkla is one of the windiest spots in the world with an estimate of 340 windy days of the year.
Dahkla is a small fishing village located on a peninsula between the Atlantic Ocean and the Sahara desert. This little gem is offering both a large lagoon for flatwater kiting, as well as some seriously good spots for riding waves.

Breathtaking adventures in the desert!

Dahkla offers unique and stunning locations to visit, for example: the 14 km long White Dune-Downwinder and the legendary ‘Speed spot’. All extra activites are normally add-ons but we include a minimum of two activites on all our trips!

Detailed information

We will stay at Dragon Camp, which is part of Hotel Dahkl Attitude, located right at the kitesurf spot. The bungalows fit two people each and offers an incredible view over the kitesurfing lagoon, whilst the sand dunes provide great protection from the wind.

Our travel package does not include flights, which you book from your closest airport. Most flights are non-direct and has a changeover in Casablanca (CMN). We recommend to book early as the prices rise quickly. One option is to fly to Casablanca and use the local airline Royal Air Maroc for the flight between Casablanca to Dahkla (VIL). Another good option is to check Canaryfly from Gran Canaria to Dahkla. Canaryfly offers cheap flights on mondays and fridays. Most bigger airports offer cheap flights to Gran Canaria on a daily basis.

Our restaurant is located 50 meters from our accommodation. Dahkla is located in the desert and there are no other restaurants or shops nearby. We therefore offer a full board on this trip. The restaurant serves delecious food, which is a combination of both European and traditional Moroccan cuisine.

Dakhla has over 300 windy days per year. The wind comes from the north. The wind speed is generally between 8-12 m/s. You can expect slightly lighter mornings and more powerful afternoons. Although rare, the wind may fail you at times. These days are perfect for wavesurfing!
